Alice is Director of Development at Art Fund, the UK’s national charity for museums. Founded in 1903, Art Fund supports over 900 museums, galleries and arts organisations by helping them to build and share their collections, to connect with their communities and inspire the next generation. As an independent charity, Art Fund lobbies local and national governments for the vital role that arts and culture play for a healthy society.
Alice leads Art Fund’s fundraising team, raising around £8m annually to support museums nationwide. She has led international fundraising appeals to protect cultural heritage, including the UK’s biggest arts crowdfunding campaign to date: a £3.5m appeal to save Prospect Cottage, the former home of artist, filmmaker and LGBTQ+ activist Derek Jarman. Alice loves history and previously worked at the British Museum, raising funds for exhibitions, education programmes and capital projects.
